Getting Around Location Touch

Logging In

Enter your Username (email address) and password to log in to Location Touch. You will stay logged in until you manually log out. You can enable the Remember Me option to have the app retain your Username in the event you do log out.

If you forget your password, press the Forgot Password? button and you will be prompted to enter the email address associated with your account. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

Branch

The first time you log in you will be prompted to select a branch. The selected branch will always display at the bottom-right side of the main menu. Pressing on that branch will allow you to select a different branch.

Product Slide-Out Menu

The product slide-out menu can be accessed any time a product is displayed -- from the Cycle Count screen, from the Product Screen, or from the Location Detail screen -- by pressing the button with the three horizontal lines at the top-right of the screen. The options in the Product Menu are specific to the item you have selected and include:

  • Location Maintenance
  • UPC Barcode
  • Print Label
  • Future Ledger
  • History Ledger
  • Activity Log
  • Inventory Inquiry

Location Maintenance

Tapping on Location Maintenance will bring you to the Products screen for the selected item. For more information on the Products screen, review the Products article.

UPC Barcode

The UPC screen displays all UPC codes associated with the product and allows you to set the primary UPC for that product, add new UPC codes, or edit existing UPC codes.

  • To set a UPC code as the primary UPC, select the UPC code which will highlight that UPC. Press the "Set Primary" button at the bottom-left of the screen. The label next to the UPC will change to Primary from Secondary and the UPC that was Primary will change to Secondary. You can only have one primary UPC at a time.
  • To edit an existing UPC code, select the UPC code which will highlight that UPC. Press the "Edit" button on the bottom-right. This will display the "Edit UPC Code" window allowing you to edit the existing UPC. Press OK to update or Cancel to abort.
  • To add a new UPC code to the product, press the plus icon on the bottom-right. This will display the "Add UPC Code" allowing you to scan or type in the UPC bar code. Press OK to update or Cancel to abort.
  • To delete an existing UPC bar code, slide your finger from right to left on the desired UPC bar code. A delete button will appear. Press the delete button to delete the UPC or press anywhere else on the screen to abort.
