Product Maintenance
The Products screen will display product information such as the product description, internal Eclipse ID (PN#), the primary UPC Code, the Catalog number (CAT#), the Control Type, total On-Hand quantity, and the individual locations with their associated on-hand quantities. It will also allow you to edit, add, or delete locations, change location information, and update on hand quantities, if authorized. You may also move product from one location to another, cross reference bar codes, and add product notes. Note that all changes made to a product are real time, even in a Non-RF environment. Any changes to quantities will create a real time inventory adjustment in Eclipse.
To view a product, you can enter the Eclipse internal product ID (prefixed with a "."), or simply search for a product by entering the product description or keywords. If you are using a Bluetooth scanner, such as the Socket Mobile or Linea Pro, you may scan the item's barcode. If you are not using a Bluetooth scanner, you may use the device's camera to scan an item's barcode by pressing the Barcode Icon located to the right of the search bar. This will display the camera allowing you to take a picture of the barcode.
