Move

The move function allows you to move quantity from one location to another. In addition to accessing Move from the main menu, it is also accessible from the Products screen and from Location Detail.

From the move screen, scan or enter the product to move.

Once the product is displayed, you can scan the "A" location from which to move the product. You can also tap on the location field, which will display a list of all existing product locations. Scroll and press the desired location and then press done. Enter the quantity to move or press "All" to move the current on-hand quantity of that location.

Note: If you enter a quantity that exceeds the current Eclipse on hand quantity for that location a message will appear, "Move Not Allowed. Quantity of xx exceeds total on-hand quantity of xx in location xx-xx-xx". Press OK to enter a different quantity.

After you enter the quantity to move, scan the "B" location where the product is being moved. You can also tap on the location field which will display a list of all existing product locations. Press the desired location to move the product to or tap the "New" button to enter a new location and press Done. Now press Move to complete the move. A message will appear confirming the move was successful.

A message will indicate the quantity moved, the location, and the previous and current quantities.
