Estimated delivery times are checked every 3 minutes for changes and updated in Deliver, Deliver Web, and Eclipse. There are two primary causes for the estimated delivery times to be updated as follows:
1. When the current directions are updated, all estimated times for stops not yet completed are based on the new estimated times received from either Google or HERE. This directions update occurs when the state of a stop changes for these reasons:
- When the manifest is started (this can be when the Start button is pressed or when the manifest auto-starts the route), all stops on the manifest are updated.
- When a manifest is added or removed, all stops on the manifest are updated.
- When a stop is completed or skipped, or a skipped stop is added back to the route, all subsequent stops on the manifest are updated.
- When breaks are completed, added, or deleted, or stops are re-sequenced on the device, all stops on the manifest are updated.
2. When the next stop is late by more than 5 minutes, the amount of time the stop is late is added added to all subsequent stops. The estimated delivery times will continue to be rechecked every 3 minutes and the additional late time added to all subsequent stops until that stop is completed.
When the estimated delivery times are updated in Deliver, they are synced to Deliver Web and Eclipse immediately unless the device does not have connectivity. This sync will be attempted every three minutes until connectivity is reestablished.
Breadcrumbs are updated in Deliver Web every 80 meters (~ 1 block) while the truck is moving.
A truck will show idle, and appear with a red icon in Deliver Web, when it has been idle for 5 minutes or the Min Idle Time you have specified in Deliver Web -> Settings -> Driving Behavior.
