Solar Close Counter Message: Device/Drivers Unavailable

 

If you see the Device/Drivers Unavailable message in Solar Close Counter, check the following:

  • Uninstall any ePad software that may be on the terminal computer
  • Check that you have a terminal ID set in Solar Preferences
  • Check the SigCap URL setting for that terminal ID in Terminal Setup

To check the SigCap URL setting for the terminal ID in Terminal Setup, do the following:

  • Go to System -> File -> Terminal Setup
  • Highlight your terminal ID from the listing and click File -> Sigcap URL
  • if not set, enter http://<internal IP address>:6080/innovo/api/sigcap/solarcc/capture in the Close Counter Order Signature URL field. Note: use the IP address of the server where the Innovo Service resides, frequently your iGate server. Do not use your Eclipse server address.
  • Click "OK" as you back out of the menus (never click "Cancel" during this process or you will lose the URL)
  • Log out of any Solar windows and log back in again for the change to take effect
