With OE Touch, your employees can edit price and see cost in the shopping cart as well as edit existing quotes. To enable these features employees must be assigned OE Touch Order Views and have proper authorization keys assigned to their Eclipse user.
Assigning Order Views
Order Views can be assigned on a global basis using the control file, Innovo OE Touch Valid Price Views for Employees or at the User Level in the Innovo Mobile User Authorizations.
Assigning order view allows employees to see cost, COGS, GP%, Basis, and Formula as long as they also have the necessary authorization keys in Eclipse.
To assign Order Views at the individual employee user, load a user in User Maintenance (Eterm Only) and press Alt-F1 to access the Innovo Mobile User Authorizations screen. (Note: If this screen does not come up, try Alt-F2, Alt-F3, etc. as we add the screen to the first available function key slot on your system.)
Near the bottom of the screen, you will see the Order Views option - press F10 to see the available options. Multiple views can be assigned by using the Multi hotkey.
The available Order View are:
- Unit Price / COGS / GP%
- Unit Price / Cost / GP%
- Unit Price / Formula
Note: Cost is Comm-Cost.
These views are available in both the shopping cart and existing quote screens.
Required Eclipse Authorization Keys:
- SOE.OPEN.PRICE.EDIT required to edit price in the app (if user is given an Order View and not authorized to edit price, the app will not allow them)
- COGS.VIEW and COST.VIEW required to view COGS, Comm-Cost and GP%.
- OE.PRICE.VIEW.LEVEL is respected in the Unit Price / Formula view and only allows users to see the basis fields that have an equal or lower view level assigned
- SOE.COST.EDIT is required to see basis fields Order COGS and Order Comm in the Unit Price / Formula view
Shopping Cart
Once the appropriate Order Views and authorization keys are in place, the user must either re-log OE Touch or select a new active customer. In the shopping cart, they will see an "Extended Price" button which allows them to select one of the assigned Order Views.
Note: Employees without order views assigned to them will not have the option to change the view from Extended Price.
Price Overrides
Users with assigned order views can change their view, then tap on the Edit button to change the item price or GP%, and then tap Done to save the changes. Price overrides will display with a red star in the order views, but not in the Extended Price view. To remove the price override, in Edit mode clear the price field and tap the Done button to save the changes.
On Contract Pricing
The red hash mark displayed next to the item price denotes pricing from a customer specific matrix for either the bill-to or ship-to customer. The red plus sign denotes pricing from a contract customer matrix.
Note: These "On Contract" pricing flags currently only displays in iOS. The price override displays in both iOS and Android.
Editing Quotes
You can edit existing quotes from the My Accounts -> Quotes screen. Tap on an existing quote, then tap on the Edit Quote button. Use the Order Views button to change the view. Use the Edit button to edit the order header information. To delete a product, tap on the red circle with the dash on the far left. To add an item or order comment, tap on the plus icon in the upper-right. Tap on the icon on the far right and drag items and comments up or down to change their sequence in the order. Tap the "Done" button to save the changes.
Edit Order Comments and Shipping Instructions
You can edit order comments on an existing quote. When in Edit Mode, tap the blue comment button, edit the comment, and then tap Done to change the order comment.
You can scroll in the Shipping Instructions screen if the message it too long to see in one screen. When in Edit Mode, you can revise the Shipping Instructions and then tap Done when complete.
To edit an existing quote, the following must be true:
- The user is assigned at least one Order View
- The user is assigned authorization key, SOE.OPEN.PRICE.EDIT
- The Quote is not expired
- There are no subtotal line items on the order
The following can be changed in an existing quote:
- Price
- Quantity
- Add / delete products
- Add / delete order comments
- Add / delete line item comments
- Re-sequence products
- Customer PO#
- Release Number
- Required Date
- Ship Via
- Shipping Instructions
- Internal Notes
- Convert to Order (if salesperson has order statuses assigned)
