You can enable printing for existing or new quotes directly from the OE Touch app for employees.
To enable printing, you must first select a printer location in settings (all printer locations from your Eclipse system will display).
- Access the settings menu from the home screen
- Tap on Printer Location
- Select the location from the list of available locations and tap Done
- Tap on Printer
- Select a valid printer available in that location and tap Done
*Applies to Employee Mode Only
Note: The list of printers available for a printer location is determined by the forms loaded to that printer. The printer must be able to print the form mapped to document SALES.ORDER in the Assign Form to Document screen located off of System -> System Files -> Printer Setup -> Assign Form to Document.
If there are multiple trays enabled for that printer and the form is loaded to each tray, you will be presented with multiple trays to select from.
You do have the ability to override the document we use to determine the form. You can do this in the control file, Innovo Document Overrides for Printing. Use prompt, Document Override for OE Touch, to override the document. This would only be applicable if you have a different form loaded to BID, for example, than you do for SALES.ORDER.
Once you are set up to print a Quote, tap the share icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Print from the pop-up menu.
Troubleshooting
We HIGHLY recommend consulting your Eclipse Administrator before making any changes to these fields.
You can see which printers are set up for a location by first making sure you are in the correct location in Eclipse, which you can ensure by changing your location, F2 > L.
Next go to Forms Loaded, which will display all of the printers and their Form Type. F2 > Printers > Forms Loaded
In order for a printer to display in the app, the Form Loaded must match either the Form for the SALES.ORDER type Document OR the Document Override for OE Touch in the control file, Innovo Document Overrides for Printing. If no printers for that location match either of these, then no printers will display in the app.
