App Functionality
You may now give specific employee users the ability to take a picture of an item in the app when no image exists.
From the Product Details page, the user will tap where it says, “Image Not Available”.
Note: Eclipse add-on product, Document Imaging, is required to enable this feature

Authorized users will see the camera icon in the upper-right of the screen. Pressing this will engage the device’s camera and allow them to take a picture.

You will have the option to select the camera to take a picture, or Albums to select an existing picture from your device.

If it is the first time the user has accessed the camera feature or Albums from the OE Touch app, they will be prompted to allow OE Touch access to the camera/photos.

If the Camera option is selected, the camera will open and allow you to take a picture. After the picture is taken, the user will have the ability to retake the photo or use the photo.

If the Albums Option is selected, the default album will open and allow the user to select an image.

Once they tap on Use Photo after taking a picture, or select an existing photo from Albums, they will tap on the Save button in the upper, right corner saving the image to the image server and linking it to this product for future display in the app.

When the image is added to the product in Eclipse, the message "Product image attached from OE Touch" will be added to the change log indicating who added the image.
You can create a report that looks for the message "Product image attached from OE Touch" in the product change long file and schedule it to run on a regular basis to see who is adding images, and what images are being added.
Innovo Images Document Profile
You must enter the document imaging profile in the prompt, Innovo Product Images, where you will store the images on your imaging server. If this is not defined, the user will receive an error in the app when trying to save the image.

The Profile ID entered here must match the Profile ID for the Storage ID entered in the "Default Document Storage Location for WOE" control file.

This may or may not be the same, to find out for sure you can check Document Profile Maintenance F2>System Files>Document Imaging>Document Profile Maintenance.
Note: The Network path must be an externally accessible shared folder.
