Portal Release 3.0.0 / Deliver Release 2.0.0 / Signature Touch 2.8.0

This update will include enhancements and bug fixes for Deliver, Deliver Web, Route, and Signature Touch. Please find our recorded webinar here.

Release Schedule
  • Beta ~ Monday, October 5
  • Webinar ~ Tuesday, November 10
  • Server upgrades will take place on Sunday, December 6 and Sunday, December 13
  • GA ~ Monday, December 14

This release will require an update of the Innovo code on your Eclipse server and web server.

Contactless Signing

Your customers will be able to sign for orders on their own device. This will be supported in Signature Touch for both counter and will-call modes and in Deliver. For detailed instructions, click here.

In all three modes, you will send a link to the customer using either an email address or phone number (you must have a Twilio account for SMS - see here for more information). The customer will click on the link where they can see order details, sign for the order(s), and email themselves a copy of the ship ticket.

  • Signature Touch counter mode will allow the employee to send a link to the customer either through Sales Order Entry using the Innovo Signature Touch Client or through Solar Closed Counter using a new menu item. Once the customer signs for their order(s), the signature will appear in the client window as it does today.
  • Signature Touch counter mode will also allow you to display a QR code in lieu of sending a link. The customer can take a picture of the QR code to access the link where they can then sign for their orders. The QR code will take up the entire display of the iPad for easy viewing.
  • Both Signature Touch will-call mode and Deliver will allow the employee to send a link to the customer. Once the customer signs, the signature will appear in the respective apps where the employee will then either accept the signature or complete the stop. You will still be able to take photos that attach to the sales order and print the ship ticket, if applicable.

Release 3.1.0

Tentatively scheduled for Q1 2021

HERE Integration

We will be offering a new mapping solution, HERE API, that supports industrial mapping and truck routing. You can choose to either stay with the Google API if you don't have truck restrictions or move to the new API.

The HERE API offers you the ability to:

  • Specify truck restrictions
  • Take requested times into account for most efficient geographical routing in Route
  • Have turn-by-turn and voice navigation directly within the Deliver app

Pricing for the HERE API is the same as the Google API so NO price changes will go into effect.

Deliver Web
  • Ability to schedule data exports
  • Ability to download manifest detail for all manifests in a date range
Route
  • New Territory setting to use average customer stop time for all stops
  • Ability to create ship via templates to use in the search criteria (great if you are building daytime and nighttime routes with a different list of ship via's)
  • Ability to define customer delivery times and default time windows
  • In addition to skipped stops, you will now see other reasons why a manifest may not have closed (refused orders, comments added, driver not closing manifest). This will help in determining what orders need to be removed from a manifest before closing.
