5. Set Control Files & User Defined Screens

Control Files

Innovo Route Date For Selecting Open Orders

By default, open orders are selected for display based on Required Date. You have the option to set this to Ship Date.

Innovo Route Disable Inprocess Status Update on Ticket Add

By default, the inprocess status of the order is updated to MANIFEST once the order has been added to a manifest. This happens when creating the manifest in Eclipse and in Route, assuming the control file, Enable Picking Confirmation is enabled for your branch. If you want to turn this feature off and not update the inprocess status when an order is added to a manifest from Route, enable this control file.

When the manifest is printed from Route, the inprocess status WILL be updated to MANIFEST.

Innovo Route Exclude In-Process Orders

When enabled, Route will not display any orders that are currently in-process via RF.

Innovo Route Exclude Orders Until In-Process Status

For Non-RF branches, enter the inprocess status that signifies the order has been completed from the picking process, i.e. the carton counts have been added. When set, Route will only display orders that are in this status.

Innovo Route Exclude Print Statuses

By default, all orders that meet the search criteria will display in Route. If you want to exclude orders from displaying based on their print status, you can define those print statuses here.

Innovo Route Exclude Order Statuses

By default, all orders that meet the search criteria will display in Route. If you want to exclude orders from displaying  based on their assigned order status as defined using the warehouse picking confirmation statuses, you can define those statuses here.

Innovo Route Manifest Report Type

By default, the global file Default Manifest Report Type will determine what is printed out of Route. If you would like to overwrite this setting at the branch level, you can do that here.

Innovo Route Release Picks on Manifest Ticket Add

Enabling this control file will release all picks for the order once added to a manifest in Route. The release for picking can happen as soon as the manifest is created, or if the order is added to an existing manifest.

This feature assumes the control file "RF Enabled Delayed Picking" is enabled

Innovo Route Update Ship Via on Manifest Add

When enabled, the order ship via will be updated to match the manifest ship via when a manifest is created from Route. The order ship via will also be updated to match the manifest ship via when an order is added to an existing manifest from Route.

The ship via will only be updated in Eclipse. Route will still show the old ship via and is a display issue only. This will be fixed in a future update.

Use Ship Branch as Address for Receiving Gen in Manifest Queue

By default, when adding the receiving generation of a transfer to a route, the receiving branch address will display. In an effort to better support transfer pick-ups, enabling this control file will force Route to display the shipping branch address.

Innovo Product Settings User Defined Screen

Items in Eclipse can be flagged as "restricted" meaning they will display with a special restriction icon in Route. This may include products you want to draw attention to as they may be too large for specific trucks.

A product type of wire, pipe, pallet or reel may be specified and the set type will display while hovering over the icon in Route.

The min qty (lowest UOM) may be set to any numerical value. If set, the restriction icon will display only if the quantity is either met or exceeded on the order. If the quantity does not reach the minimum, the icon will not display even if the product is flagged as restricted.

Scheduling Orders from Eclipse

You can automatically open the Route -> Schedule page directly from the sales order in Eclipse by adding the NOVO.ROUTE.SCHEDULE program to a user defined screen. More information on scheduling orders using this feature can be found here.

To configure for Eterm, add an F-Keys option on the status page of the sales order.

To configure for Solar,  use the Customize Menu Items screen to add a custom menu item on the status page of the sales order.
