The Route Detail screen provides a more in-depth view of a single route. You can edit route information, re-arrange stops on the route, add breaks, group or un-group stops (when enabled), and create, lock, and un-lock manifests.
The Route Detail screen has three distinct sections that present route information.
1. Detail Panel
2. Detail Overview
3. Map
The Detail Panel is made up of two sections:
- Route Information
- Stops

Route Information
The Route Information section shows number of stops, manifest date, start time, ship-via, driver, vehicle, weight/load (when enabled) and carton counts (when enabled). All of this information is set when the route is created - based on territories or created on-the-fly. From this section, you can edit the route information, delete the route, and create the manifest in Eclipse.
Any issue on the route is also displayed in detail.
Note: The number of stops does not include breaks and if you have stop consolidation/grouping enabled, each group counts as one stop.
Edit Route
To enter Edit mode, click on the Edit button. You can edit the route name, ship date, start time, ship-via, driver, stop time padding and vehicle. To Save your changes, click the Save button.
Ship Date: If changed to a future date, the route will be moved to that Route Date and removed from the current Route Date upon refresh.

Vehicle Specifications
The vehicle field will link directly to the vehicle detail window in Deliver Web. You can make changes to the vehicle and view the any set specifications (see the Vehicles article for more information).
You can hover over the vehicles name to display the specifications including height, length, width, weight, and max weight. The values are taken from the specifications section on the vehicle detail window.

Vehicle Overweight
If you are displaying weight and load and there is a max weight set on the vehicle, a scale icon will appear if the total weight exceeds the max weight. The icon will also specify the amount the vehicle is overweight.
The max weight is the total weight of all products on the route plus the weight of the truck.
The overweight amount takes the total weight (products + truck) and subtracts that value from the max weight.

Delete Route
Click on the Delete button to remove the route from the route date. To find all orders that were on that route, simply search for orders again in the Order Search box.

Create Manifest
Click on the Create button to create a manifest for this route. Once the manifest is created, the manifest number will display next to the route name.

In Settings, you have the option to auto-lock a manifest upon creation. In this case, that setting is enabled and the manifest is locked on creation. To make any changes to this manifest you must first un-lock the manifest by clicking on the locked icon. Once un-locked, you can re-arrange stops, un-group stops, add breaks, and un-route stop. Once you are finished with your changes, you will want to lock the manifest again by clicking on the un-locked icon.
For Eclipse users, once you make any changes to an existing manifest, those changes will also be updated in Eclipse.
Print Manifest
Once a manifest has been created, a Printer icon will appear and the manifest and ship tickets may be printed. For more information on printing, click here.

Close Manifest
For Eclipse users only ***
You may find it necessary to manually close a manifest when a manifest does not close through the Deliver app. There are many reasons a manifest would not close, for example:
- Skipped stop
- Refused order
- Comments taken during route
If a manifest did not close due to a skipped stop, we make that easy for you to identify and close yourself.
- Navigate to the Route Detail page
- Unlock the manifest if currently locked
- Right click on the skipped stop and select un-route
- Click on the Close button
In a future release, we will identify stops where an order was refused or a comment was taken to assist you in why a manifest did not close.
Once the manifest has been closed, a check mark will appear on the route banner and replace the lock symbol. No additional changes can then be made through Route unless your an Administrator of Route.
Open Manifest
Administrators can open a closed manifest by clicking on the Open button below. This should only be utilized if a stop was completed by mistake and eliminates the need for making change on the manifest in Eclipse.

Stops
Re-sequence
You can rearrange stops using the drag and drop feature. One or more stops can be rearranged at a time. For more information on the drag and drop feature, click here.
Reorder
The reorder feature will arrange stops in the order they are selected. You can select the orders from the Panel or by double clicking the stop marker on the map. To reorder the selected stops, click on the blue reorder icon at the bottom of the Panel or the icon located in the upper left hand corner of the map.
In this example, stop 2 was selected first, stop 4 was selected second, and stop 3 was selected third. After clicking the reorder icon, the stops are moved into the order they were selected and the remaining stops are re-optimized based on the default optimization setting in the Settings tab.
Right Click
You can also re-arrange stops by right-clicking on a stop from the Panel or a stop marker from the Map to move a stop within the route or move stops a different route.
Move To
Right click on the stop from the Panel or Map and select "Move to". When the Move Stop popup displays, enter in the stop number to move the current stop to.
Note: Only one stop at a time can be moved using this feature

Move to a different route
Right click on the stop from the Panel or Map and select a route from the prompt to move stops to a different route.
Note: More than one stop can be moved with this feature if more are selected in the Panel.

Lock Stops
Locking a stop will ensure it will be delivered first, regardless of requested time or location. Once a stop is locked, it will remain in place when stops are automatically added to the route or when the route is re-optimized.
You can only lock stops at the beginning of the route.
To lock one or multiple stops, click on the lock icon from the banner, choose a "To Stop" number and then click the Lock button.
Once a stop has been locked, it will display with a gray background in the Panel in both the Route Detail and Route pages. If an unlocked stop is manually moved before a locked stop, all following stops will be unlocked.
To unlock all stops, click on the lock icon and click on the "Unlock All Stops" link.

Optimization Off
By default, when you add more orders to an existing route using the Route button, all orders on the route are re-optimized. If you have organized a route and do not want new orders to be re-optimized, you can "lock" the route. This will append any new orders to the end of the route.
To turn optimization off, click on the Optimization icon. This will display an icon with a line drawn through it signifying it has been turned off.
Consolidated Stops
If you are consolidating/grouping stops, these stops will appear as a group and will display the total number of tickets, items, weight, and load for all orders on the stop. To view the stops that have been consolidated, click on the Show Stops button to display stops for a specific group or the Show Group Stops button on the route banner to display all consolidated stops on the route.

To un-consolidate all grouped stops, click on the Groups button and all consolidated stops on the route will be un-grouped. To consolidate all stops, click on the Groups button again.
Note: The Groups button will only be enabled if the Enable Stop Consolidation/Grouping setting is enabled and there is at least one stop on the route that is grouped.

Manually Group
There may be cases where stops did not consolidate but they need to be a single stop on the route. To manually group separate stops, select the stops by clicking on the stop number from the panel or by double clicking the stops on the map. Once the stops are selected, click on the Group button on the banner or right click and select Group.
In this example, the setting to Consolidate using Address Matching is on so the addresses must match exactly but the addresses here are different. After manually grouping, the stops will be consolidated and treated as a single stop and the Manual Group icon will appear on the stop information.
Note: Only ship-tos that are part of the same bill-to are allowed to be manually grouped.

Manually Un-Group
To ungroup a specific consolidated stop, select the stop by clicking on the stop number from the panel or by double clicking the stop on the map. Then either select the Ungroup Button on the route banner or right click and select Un-Group. You can also right click and select Un-Group without first selecting the stop.
Once the stops have been un-grouped, they will be considered individual stops on the route each requiring a signature. Only the specific stop will be ungrouped and all other stops on the route will remained consolidated.

Breaks
You can add breaks for your drivers directly from Route. If the driver is authorized in the app, they will be able to remove breaks added from Route and re-arrange them so please keep that in mind. If you plan to pre-load the breaks for your drivers, consider turning off the Enable Break Times in the Deliver app.
To add a break:
1. Click the coffee cup icon next the stop number total
2. Add a name for your break or select from the list of pre-defined breaks
3. Edit the Duration if necessary
4. Click the Add button.
Note: You can define a list of breaks in Deliver Web -> Settings.

By default, a break is added after the first stop. You can use the drag and drop feature to move the break in front or after any stop on the route. To delete a break, click the Remove button from the panel. To edit a break, double click on the break from the Panel.
Once a break has been added, the estimated delivery time on subsequent stops will be updated.

Requested Times
You can add requested times or time windows directly from the Route Detail page. The entered times will be added to the order in both Route and Deliver, but will not be added to the calendar on the Schedule tab. To enter requested times for one or more stops, click on the clock icon from the Panel banner.

You will see two fields appearing for each stop. The first field is for a specific time or if entering a time window, for the start time. The second field is for the window end time. After all times have been entered, click the save button and those times will be added to the stops.
If the default optimization setting from the Settings tab is set to Requested Times (regardless if that was overridden on this route), the orders will automatically be re-optimized based on the times entered. If the default optimization is set to Fastest, the stops will remain in place and just display the new times entered.

Optimize
By default, when the routes are automatically created, they are optimized according to the default Optimize setting. For more information, click here. At any time, you can re-optimize using the Options button in the Route Information section. This is helpful if you have re-sequenced stops or moved stops from one route to another.
Clicking on the Preview button will update the map and stop listing according to the Optimize option selected. To apply the changes, click the Apply button. To cancel those changes, click on the Close button.
Note: You must click on the Preview button before the Apply button is activated.
Reverse Order
When optimizing by fastest route, you can also reverse the route order. When fastest is selected, the Reverse option will appear. You can preview the route and then apply if you want to save the changes.

Pickups Last
When routing by requested time or fastest, you have the option to move pickups to the bottom of the route and have your driver complete them last. The option will move all purchase orders and all credits. If the sales order contains both invoiced tickets and open credits, then it will not be moved to the end of the route and will be optimized by either fastest or requested time.

Traffic
Note: The traffic option is only available if the branch is using HERE industrial routing.
When routing by requested time or fastest, you have the option to take historical traffic into consideration. When toggled on, the suggest path will use historical traffic to determine the suggested path.

The Detail Overview section shows a summary of the route.
DELIVERIES
The total number of deliveries display plus the total number of late deliveries. A late delivery is when the estimated delivery time does not meet the requested time, based on the start time of the manifest.
TIME
The time shows the duration of the route including break times and including the take me home stop.
DISTANCE
The distance shows the total number of miles for the route including the take me home stop.
PROFIT
The profitability of the route is calculated based on order profitability and a cost per mile value. The cost per mile can be defined at the vehicle level, territory, or branch level in Route Settings. The cost per mile hierarchy is:
Profit is calculated by taking the total order profit and subtracting the number of miles * cost per mile. To see the Order Profit and Cost Per Mile, hover over the dollar sign in the PROFIT box.
- Order $ The total subtotal amount from all orders on route
- Order Profit $ The total profit dollars ((subtotal - COGS or COMM) based on the Innovo Deliver Profit Cost control file) from all orders on route
- Order Margin (Order Profit $ / Order $)
- Cost Per Mile Dollar amount specified in the hierarchy listed above
- Actual Profit $ (Order Profit $ - (Cost Per Mile * actual miles driven))
- Actual Margin (Actual Profit $ / Order $)
Note: Any time an order is added to a route or removed from a route, the profitability updates automatically. If an order is either added to an existing stop or the price changes in the ERP system, you must Refresh the route to pick up the new changes.

Note: Any changes made in the Detail Panel will be reflected automatically in the Detail Overview. If there is a late delivery, the DELIVERIES box will display in orange. If there is a negative profit, the PROFIT box will display in red.
If there are no late deliveries, the DELIVERIES box will display in green. If there is a positive profit, the PROFIT box will display in green.
The Map displays all of the stops and the suggested directions from Google or Here, based on how the stops are listed in the panel. Any changes made in the panel will be reflected on the map.
The map tool bar provides options to help visualize the route.
1. Show/Hide Directions
2. Lock Map Zoom
3. Show Territory
4. Full Screen
To enable one of these options, click on the associated icon. To go back to the previous view, simply click on the icon again.
Lock Map Zoom
By default, the Map on the Route tab and in Route Detail will be unlocked. If you are zoomed in or out and make any changes, the map automatically refreshes to it's original position. If you would like the map to not reposition itself after making changes, click on the lock symbol in the top right corner of the map to Lock Zoom. If you lock the map, that setting will follow to the other screens where a map is displayed (Route, Route Detail, Compare).
Stop Markers with Requested Times
Stop markers will be a solid color for any orders containing a requested time. Orders without a requested time will be white outlined with the color of the route.
Layers (HERE only)
If using Here, clicking on the layers icon in the bottom right hand corner of the map will allow you to choose the following view options. All selected options will be remembered per user for future logins.
You can select one option from the top section and one option from the lower section simultaneously.
- Normal: This is the default and most basic view.
