Eterm or Solar Sales Order Entry

You will first need to configure the Sig Touch Client to use the Innovo product rather than the Epicor Eclipse ePad software.

• Open the SigTouch Terminal Configuration application from your start menu
• Set Connection Type to "Secured (HTTPS)"
• Enter the external IP address of your web server
• The port for most companies will be 6443 - if that does not work on your system, please contact support@goinnovo.com

Now you need to determine how this machine will recognize the terminal ID. The safest option is to select Set Manually and enter the terminal ID. Please remember the terminal ID must match the terminal ID set in either Eterm or Solar. This is a case sensitive field. You can also select either Eterm or Solar if you will always be using either Eterm or Solar on this workstation.

You must configure your Eterm terminal to look for the Sig Touch Client when signing for an order in Sales Order Entry.

From the Eterm terminal menu, go to Configure -> Helper Applications.

• In the name field, enter SigCapture
• In the command field, enter either C:\Program Files (x86)\SigTouch Client\SigTouchClient.exe (for 64-bit systems) or C:\Program Files\SigTouch Client\SigTouchClient.exe (for 32-bit systems)
• Click Add and then Done

You must close the Eterm window and re-log for the setting to take effect.

You must configure Solar to look for the Sig Touch Client when signing for an order in Sales Order Entry.

• From the main Solar window, go to Settings -> Solar Preferences.
• Under the Advanced Tab, set the Signature Capture Program Path to: SigTouchClient.exe

To test your settings, do the following:

• Load an invoice into Eterm or Solar Sales Order Entry
• From the Totals screen, press alt-G in Eterm (or ctrl-G in Solar) to send the signature to the iPad for signing
• The Sig Touch Client window will appear on the terminal
• On the iPad tap Click Here to Sign, sign the invoice and tap accept
• The signature should appear in the Sig Touch Client window on the terminal
