Inventory Status
Products are ranked into Moving, Slow and Frozen inventory statuses. The default percentages are 70, 20 and 10. This means that 70% of the products will be categorized as Moving, 20% categorized as Slow, and 10% as Frozen. These settings can be changed and will apply only to the Ship-To selected.
Suggested Min/Max
There are 2 calculation methods - Basic and Advanced. Both formulas use average daily usage, avery lead time and safety stock to derive a suggested minimum value.
Basic: The basic method uses a safety stock % assigned to each inventory status type to calculate the suggested maximum value. The defaults are 20, 50 and 0.
Advanced: In addition to the Safety Stock %, the Advanced method uses the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) formula to calculate the suggested maximum value.
NOTE: Check next to Basic or Advanced to change the settings to the selected Ship-To.
