Notifications

Deliver allows you to send Pre-Delivery and Post-Delivery notifications to your customers. The following notification types are supported:

  • Out for Delivery
  • Next Stop
  • Stop X Minutes Away
  • Delivered

Email Templates

To send email notifications to your customer, you must first create your email templates. For more information, click here.

SMS Settings

To send SMS notifications to your customers, you must first create your SMS templates. For more information, click here.

Customer Setup

Once your templates are created, you will need to enable notifications for your customers. For more information, click here.

Troubleshoot

We receive a lot of support inquiries about where notifications were sent and why. This page allows you to enter a sales order number (including the gen) to see where notifications will be sent, to whom, and from where. You can also use this page to test what your notifications will look like when received.

Note: Deliver Web Editor and Manager roles must be authorized in Eclipse for the price branch of the order. Deliver Web Administrators can troubleshoot any order.

Enter the order number and gen, then click the Check button.

To test sending a notification, click the Test link located to the right side of the notification details. Enter the email address or SMS number you want to send the notification to and click the Send button.

Vehicles

You can send an email or SMS notification when a driver begins the take me home stop at the end of their manifest route.

To enable the Take Me Home notification,

  • Enter the email address and/or SMS number that will receive the notification (multiples can be entered separated by commas)
  • Enable the Take Me Home notification for either Email, SMS, or both

The notification will be enabled for the selected branch in the top-right drop-down. If All Branches is selected, the settings will be used for any branch that has not yet been configured.
