Live

The Live page displays all devices/trucks that have either started a manifest today or have breadcrumbs captured for today. There is a limit of 100 trucks displayed at once. The branch selector at the top-right allows you to drill into a single branch's truck activity or view all trucks across every branch by selecting All Branches options. This is the same list you will see on the Dashboard under Active Drivers.

The progress bar displayed above the map shows:

  • Manifests In Progress - number of manifests that have been started on a device
  • Stops Remaining - number of stops across all manifests in progress that have not yet been completed
  • Trucks - number of active devices/trucks
  • Stopped Trucks - number of trucks that are currently stopped
    • A stopped truck is defined as any truck that has been stopped for at least five minutes, or the number of minutes specified in the Min Idle Time setting on Settings -> Preferences.

Selecting any of the manifests in the table will display the specific route information for that manifest. See the Live Detail Tracking section below for more information.

The map displays truck markers for all trucks listed in the table. The active trucks are displayed in blue and the stopped trucks are displayed in red. You can hover over any truck marker to see a pop-up window of the active manifest and stop.

Clicking on any specific entry will display a popup on the map showing its location, manifest and current stop. If a device has been recently active but does not currently have an active manifest, it will display No Manifest Selected.

All Branches

The All Branches option in the branch selector at the top right hand corner is available to Deliver Web Administrators, Managers, and Editors. The branches displayed are based on the users authorized branches in Eclipse for Mangers Editors

When All Branches is selected, all active trucks across every authorized Deliver branch will display in the Live Tracking section and the first 100 trucks on the map. Every home branch will display on the map as well. A branch column will display in the Live Tracking section signifying the home branch of each driver and will be sorted alphabetically.

The information being displayed is a snapshot of data and is not live. The page will automatically refresh every 2 minutes. There is a countdown in the right hand corner that will notify you of the Next Update.

In-App Messaging

You can send messages to drivers by clicking on the drivers name or the Chat Icon in the Live Tracking section. For more information on In-App Messaging, click here.

Live Detail Tracking

Select a manifest to see the Live Detail Tracking view which displays the current route information for the selected manifest.

There are three sections of this page discussed in detail below:

  • Manifest / Stop Details
  • MPH graph
  • Route map

Estimated delivery times are updated for each subsequent stop when a previous stop has been completed and every three minutes while the truck is moving. Breadcrumbs which are used to show where the truck is currently located are updated every 80 meters (~ 1 block) while the truck is moving.

Manifest Details

The header section displays the following:

  • Total number of stops
  • Branch ID from Eclipse
  • Ship Date
  • Start Time
  • Ship Via
  • Driver's user ID from Eclipse
  • Device Name
  • Estimated time remaining for the route (including Take Me Home if enabled)
  • Total distance traveled thus far
  • Estimated distance remaining
  • Total distance of route (including Take Me Home if enabled)
  • Total COD dollar amount for all stops
  • A green Route icon at the bottom-left indicating the manifest was created in Route and not modified in Eclipse.

NOTE: If the manifest you are viewing has been completed in the Deliver app, an Export button will be present to the right of the Manifest number, which allows you to download the manifest's details as a .csv file. For more information, see our Compare article.

Manifest Details

Stop Details

The Step Details display the ship-to customer, ship-to address, stop ship via, distance to stop (from previous stop), time (from previous stop), estimate or actual delivery time, status (delivered, in progress, skipped, or pending).

A completed stop will show Delivered in green, like stop #1 The next stop will display In Progress in blue, like stop #2. All subsequent stops will display Pending in gray. These colors correspond to the stop markers listed on the map. If a stop is skipped, it will display SKIPPED in red.

When a stop is completed, the actual delivery time and recorded stop time will display. Any pending stops will display the estimated delivery time based on current traffic conditions. These are the same times that appear on the manifest in Eclipse.

If there were photos taken on the stop, a photo will display and when you hover over it, it will show you how many photos were taken.

Please note: the order of the stops displayed in this section represents what is currently displayed on the device. The driver can be given authorization to reorder the stops on the device. If that happens, the order of the stops on the device will no longer match what shows on the Eclipse manifest. The correct information is updated on the Eclipse manifest - it's just a difference in the displayed order. So please keep that in mind if the Live listing is in a different order than what is currently displayed on the Eclipse manifest.

Ticket Detail

You can click on the "+Tickets" at the bottom-left of each stop's details to expand a list of sales orders for that stop. If there are multiple orders being delivered on that stop, all orders will display. For each order we display COD amount (if any), phone number, and ordered by from the sales order header, and any shipping instructions. =

Viewing Order Details, Signature, and Photos

Click on a stop to display a popup of that stop information on the map.

Click on the ticket icon to view order details.

If a stop has been delivered, the signature image will display in the bottom-right, including date and time (from Drivers device) that the signature was accepted. If any photos were taken at the stop, a photo icon will display to the right of the order number. Click on that photo icon to view the photos. A maximum of 10 photos are displayed. Click on photo thumbnail to view the full size image in a separate browser tab.

Overlay (Route Customers Only)

The Overlay feature displays the suggested route vs. the actual route driven. Once a manifest has been completed in Deliver, the overlay will be presented along with additional information in the Panel. The Overlay can be accessed from Manifest Detail, Compare, or the Dashboard.

For more information on Route Overlay, click here.

The Overlay Feature is only available for Route customers. Route will display addition information including calculating estimate time & mile vs actual time & miles driven.

Panel

The Panel displays the following information:

  • Delivered / Skipped - If the stop is skipped, double clicking into stop detail will display the reason entered by the driver.
  • Requested Time - Requested time, if any
  • Plan Time - The first estimated time we calculated for the stop when the manifest started
  • Actual Delivery Time - The time the stop was completed in Deliver
    • The time will display in green if a requested time was entered and the stop was on-time (for specific requested time, this means the actual time < requested time and for a time window, this means the actual time was within the requested window)
    • The time will also display in green if there is no requested time
    • The time will display in red if a requested time was entered and the stop was not on-time
  • Stop Time - the amount of time the driver was within a 0.2 mile geofence of the customer's address
    • If  stopped longer than the set stop time padding, a  "+" sign and a red number will display totaling the amount of minutes the driver went over the padding
    • If stopped shorter than the set stop time padding, a "-" sign and  a green number will display totaling the amount of minutes the driver went under the padding
  • Out of Order - if the stop was delivered in a different order that what was originally suggested in Route, hover over the alert icon to see what sequence the stop was delivered
  • Take Me Home - the estimated arrival time vs. the actual time the driver arrived back at the branch

To view the Overlay in Route, click on the green arrow link.

Map

The map will display both the original suggested route and the route the driver actually took. The original route is displayed in orange and the actual route is displayed in the defined route color set in Route. The original stop marker as well as the location of where the driver completed the stop (number with pencil icon) will display on the map.

Address Accuracy Rating

The colored icon located to the left of the stop address indicates Google's accuracy rating for the address. Hovering over each color will display a brief description of the accuracy rating. The full description can be found below:

  • Green: "Best address accuracy" Exact match found.
  • Yellow: "Mediocre address accuracy" Fairly accurate match found. The street exists in that zip code but not the street number.
  • Red: "Worst address accuracy" No match found. The street does not exist in that zip code. In this case, we recommend double-checking the directions as the navigation will route the driver to the middle of the zip code.

MPH Graph

The MPH graph shows how fast the driver was going during the route as well as where stops were either completed or skipped. In the example below you see a green triangle displayed at the time of each completed delivery. If there was a skipped stop on this route, you would see a red triangle at the time the stop was skipped. You can hover over any point in the graph to see a pop-up window with the time and truck speed and that corresponds to a red circle icon on the map itself. This shows at that time, the exact location of the truck on the route. In the example below you see at 6:44 am the truck was en route to stop #4 and traveling at 72mph.

Route Map

The route map displays the actual route the driver is taking or has taken (this map can be seen for completed routes as well on the Compare tab).

The route already traveled displays in blue and the remaining route displays in orange. The driver's current location is represented with the blue (or red, if stopped) truck icon. In this example, the driver appears to be stopped at stop #35. All completed stops will display with a green circle. The next stop will display in blue. And all subsequent stops will display in gray.

When a stop has been completed you will see two stop markers -- the original and a completed stop marker with a signature icon. If a stop was skipped, the green signature marker will be replaced with a red marker. The stop marker with a signature icon is where the driver captured the signature. A full key is located at the end of this article.

There are two sections at the top where you can edit the look of the map. The first section located on the top left side of the map allows you to display the map in satellite view. The second section located at the top right side of the map has options to show/hide original stop markers, show/hide traffic, and display the map in full-screen mode. These are discussed below.

Hide Stop Markers

By default, the original stop marker will be displayed on the map representing the GPS coordinates found using the stop address. Once a stop has been completed, a completed stop marker representing where the signature was actually taken will also display. The completed stop marker shows the stop number as well as a signature icon. In the example below you see stop #29 was not signed in the exact location of the stop address. To hide the original stop markers, click on the Hide Stop Markers icon located at the top right of the page.

The map on the right hand side below shows the map when the hide stop markers option is enabled.

Show Traffic

There is a car icon in the upper-right corner of the map. Clicking this icon will show the traffic. When traffic is shown the icon will display with a red circle with a slash. Clicking the icon again will hide the traffic.

Show Traffic

Full Screen

Next to the traffic icon there is an icon with two diagonal arrows pointing outward. Clicking this icon will show the map in full- screen mode. When the map is in full-screen mode, the arrows will appear pointing inward. Clicking the arrow icon again will return the map to standard mode.

Full Screen

Traffic and Satellite

This example shows traffic in satellite view. You can also display traffic in the standard map view.

Route Map Key

These are all of the potential icons you may see on the map at any given time.

Route Map Key

Note on the Manifest Start icon:

This is the point where we start tracking the delivery. Normally, this is very close to the home branch icon as we automatically start tracking the delivery if the driver is in the PRE-TRIP STOP ADJUSTMENT screen and drivers 0.2 mile away from the branch. Or if the driver manually starts the manifest before leaving the branch, you might see the manifest tracking icon right below the home branch icon. However, if the driver does not manually start the manifest and is not on the PRE-TRIP STOP ADJUSTMENT screen as he is driving away from the branch, the manifest tracking icon might look like the image on the right.

  • It would be nice to search by Order ID. We are commonly inquiring on when an order will be delivered, or when it was delivered. It is several steps from knowing an order ID to finding what manifest it is on in Eclipse, so being able to search on Order ID and having Deliver jump to that manifest and stop would be nice.
