The Order Approval mod allows your customers to require an order approval from a manager before the order gets submitted to Eclipse. At the contact level, you will need to assign an email address or list of email addresses that will be the “approvers” or “managers”. Please see this article for more information. When the contact logs into the app, they will be presented with a new menu item on the home page - Order Approval. This is where all pending approvals and any approvals that have been rejected display.

Approvals are sorted in ascending date order from when they were initially submitted. This customer has three pending approvals, meaning their manager did not approve the approval, and the third approval has been rejected. If you press on the info icon you will see the reject reason. At any point the customer can delete the approval by swiping their finger from right to left.

The approval detail can be seen by selecting an approval from the pending approvals page. The detail will show all products that were requested for order and their associated quantities and pricing (if pricing is enabled for this customer).

If the customer needs to resend the order approval email to their manager, have them press the "Resend" button which will just resend the email. From this page you can also add the items back to the shopping cart if a new approval needs to be submitted.

To submit an order approval from the app, the customer will build their shopping cart as normal. The only difference they will see is a pared-down version of the checkout page.
Even if the customer is required to enter a purchase order number based on the Eclipse setting, it will not be required on checkout. When the manage submits the approval they will be required at that time to enter the purchase order number.
The remaining fields are documented in the standard checkout article found here.

Once the order is submitted for approval, they will receive an alert and then pressing OK will bring the user back to the home screen. The approval they just sent should now display in their Order Approvals page.
Push Notifications
You can set up the contact in Eclipse to accept Smart Notifications (see the Innovo Contact Mobile Authorizations screen located off of Contact Maintenance alt-F1 Eterm, ctrl-F1 Solar).
If enabled, a push notification will be sent to the customer's device when their manager either approves the order or rejects the order.
Note: The customer must also have push notifications enabled on their device to receive these approval notifications.
