What is the difference between removing app access for a user and deleting a user?
Removing access to an Innovo app will remove their ability to login to the app that you remove. Their portal user will remain in place and remain linked to the same login and password. If they have any other innovo apps still in place, their login will continue to work for those apps. If the app access you remove is their only Innovo app access, their login and password will remain the same, but they are effectively suspended from using it until app access is added again.
Deleting a user removes their Innovo login and all Innovo-related access completely. If you accidentally delete a user, you would need to invite them again from your Manage->Invite page as if they were a new user.
Note: When you remove access to an app or delete a user entirely, it will not immediately log the the user out of the out of the app. The user will be automatically logged out the next time the app checks to confirm the user should still have access. This normally occurs every 24 hours. If you are removing all app access and terminating the employee, we highly suggest you set the "No Logon" option in Eclipse's User Maintenance for the user so they will no longer appear on the Manage->Invite page in your Portal.
To remove a user's access to an Innovo App, go to the Manage->Users page and find the user by either browsing through the table or entering a search term and clicking the magnifying glass icon. Next, click on their name to load their full user page. Then, uncheck the box to the left of the app whose access you want to remove. In the screenshot below, we will remove the OE Touch access by unchecking the box.

A pop-up message will appear asking if you want to Deauthorize the user for the app. Select continue to complete the removal of the user's access to the app.

To delete an app user, go to the Manage->Users page and find the user by either browsing through the table or entering a search term and clicking the magnifying glass icon.
Once you have located the user to delete, check to box to the left of their name. Then click either of the red garbage can buttons at the top and bottom of the table.
NOTE: Deleting a user takes away their access to all Innovo Apps. Nothing is changed in Eclipse. If a user is deleted and needs app access in the future, simply invite the employee or contact again from the Invite page.

Once you click the garbage can button, a confirmation window appears. Click Continue to perform the deletion or cancel to leave their app access in place.
