This release will require us to update the Innovo code on both your Web Server and Eclipse server. The Deliver app for iOS will have an update as well.
- Add change log to route detail to record when changes are made to a route such as ship via, package counts, weight, price, inprocess status, requested time, optimization on/off, lock/un-lock, address changes, and more! For more information on the change log, click here.
- Define optimization at the individual Territory level for fastest, requested times, and reverse. For more information, click here.
- Ability to optimize routes based on previous routing behavior. Click here for more information.
- Add new Customers table to easily identify those customers that have ranks, business hours, requested times, stop times, and address quality. Information on the Customers table can be found here.
- Add new setting to include $0 credits when searching. Please see the Settings page for more information.
- Add total number of tickets per route to the overview. To see an example, view the attached presentation above.
- Ability for managers to open a closed manifest from Route.
- Add change log entry to Eclipse when a manifest is opened from Route.
- Add credit orders to the issue filter. To see an example, view the attached presentation above.
- Add a new setting to not automatically route yellow and/or red addresses. For more information, click here.
- Ability to manually geocode home branch locations for more accurate take-me-home completions. For more information, click here.
- Add new Bad Addresses table to the Summary tab to show when deliveries were made to either yellow or red addresses - once addresses have been corrected, they will be removed from the table. More information on the Bad Addresses table can be found here.
- Display shipping instructions when entering in requested times on the Route Detail page. If the shipping instructions already have a requested time included, click a button to automatically move the times into the requested times fields. For more information, click here.
- When scanning orders without the GEN number, display all available generations so user can select the correct one. To see an example, view the attached presentation above.
- Ability to add multiple ranks per customer. For more information, click here.
- Ability for the router to add delivery notes that will display in the Deliver app. Click here for more information.
- Ability to define holiday hours at the customer level. More information can be found here.
- Ability to create multiple boundaries when using routing method Territory. For more information on Territory Templates, click here.
- Update alert table when the link between the Route created and Manifest downloaded is not in sync.
- When editing a route for today, do not blank out manifest date.
- Add staging location and tote information to Load Mode display. To see an example, view the attached presentation above.
- Make it easier to scan packages out of order. For more information, click here, and scroll down towards the bottom of that section.
- Ability to use non-integrated third-party barcode scanners. Popular options with customers are: Eyoyo Bluetooth Scanner and Tera Bluetooth Scanner. To enable third-party bluetooth scanners, you must enable setting Bluetooth Keyboard Scan in the Deliver app (Settings -> Manifests).
- Ability to require carton Id's be scanned instead of sales orders. To enable this feature, you must enable setting Force Carton Scan in the Deliver app (Settings -> Manifests). Note: If there are no carton Id's on the order, you will be allowed to scan the sales order.
- Change status of stop from STAGED to LOADED in Eclipse once a carton is scanned on truck.
- Ability to require a pre-trip photo be taken before manifest begins and attached to the Eclipse manifest. There is a new control file, Innovo Deliver Photo Required Before Manifest Start, that you must enable to use this feature. If enabled, the driver must take a photo during the pre-trip manifest process before starting the route.
- Replaced Full Resolution Photo setting to Standard, Medium, and High. The Full Resolution Photo setting was causing latency in our service and when slowness was reported, turning this setting off would typically help. Now you have the option to select the type of resolution you want to store on your imaging server. When scaling an image, you look at quality and size. When the quality of an image is high, it keeps all the fine lines and color accuracy, resulting in a larger file size. The Standard setting has quality 70% with a max dimension size of 800px. The Medium setting has quality of 80% with max dimension size of 1600px. The High setting has quality of 90% with max dimension size of 2400px. Note: Any device that has the Full Resolution Photo setting enabled, will automatically be switched to High once the app is upgraded.
- Changed image storage logic to only create one image that spans all orders on a stop rather than create a duplicate image for each order on the stop. This will also help with any slowness in our service, and reduce storage needed for delivery photos.
- Add expected start time (Plan Start Time) to the completed manifest export. Plan Start Time is the time you expect the manifest to start -- this could be either the start time defined in Route or the start time set on the Manifest in Eclipse. For more information, click here.
- Add ship via to the Completed Manifests table. For more information, click here.
- Lock down Twilio SMS settings to only Deliver Web Admins. Only administrators will be able to update these settings. Fore more information, view the attached presentation above.
- Support address changes and carton counts when refreshing manifest in Deliver app.
- Add geostamp to photos including the GPS coordinates of where the photo was taken. To see an example, view the attached presentation above.
- View and track all customers that have opted-out of notifications through Twilio
- Add "Prompt for Pre-Trip" setting to prompt driver to remind them to complete their pre-trip inspection check. To enable, turn on the setting in the Deliver app (Settings -> Manifests).
- Add Notifications change log to record any changes made to customer settings by including date/time stamp and user making the change. For more information, click here.
- Added a new User Defined option in Sales Order Entry to open up the track package link. More information can be found here.
We're excited to announce a much-improved HERE mapping experience for our industrial routing customers! Today, we offer turn-by-turn directions directly within the Deliver app. Now, we're making something even better available: HERE's dedicated mapping app.
Similar to Google Maps and Apple Maps, Deliver will launch the HERE WeGo Pro app to begin navigation. It delivers all the familiar features of the standard mapping apps plus supports truck dimensions, road restrictions, and more.
We'll be migrating current HERE customers to the app over the next few months, so stay tuned!
For more information on the HERE WeGo app, click here.
We're excited to announce Swiftly, our new AI-powered route optimizer, rolling out over the coming months. The beta begins the first week of September so stay tuned!
Getting started is simple. You'll set a few parameters on your current routes, such as the maximum miles a truck can drive per route and the maximum time you want a truck out on the road each day. From there, Swiftly takes over.
Swiftly works for both historical and current-day routing. Look back at any past day and see what your routes could have looked like - could you have used fewer trucks and still met your requested times? Then apply those same insights to optimize your routes going forward.
