The first time you login to Deliver you will be taken to the Settings page automatically.
If you've had Signature Touch 2.6.4 installed on the device previously, it will prompt you to import your settings from Signature Touch. You should answer yes to this prompt and then double-check that the settings are what you currently want them to be. See our Switching from Signature Touch Truck Mode to Deliver documentation for more on this.
On a new install of the app (or if you don’t copy over settings), the following defaults are automatically set. We have highlighted these default settings in the documentation as well.
- Close Manifest -> Prompt to Close
- Automatically Sync Stops -> Enabled
- Enable Mapping -> Enabled
- Enable Take Me Home -> Enabled
- Move Delayed Stop to Last -> Enabled
General
This General screen shows you:
ERP Account - The Eclipse account you are connected to. If you have multiple Eclipse accounts, you can tap on the ERP Account to change the connected account.
User - The email address of the current logged in user
Version - The current version of the app
ACTION: Please READ the following if you are running iOS 16 or greater and do not have defined vehicles created in Deliver Web -> Vehicles.
Device Name -
The device name appearing in Deliver Web either comes from the selected vehicle and if so does not apply here or from the Name field in Settings > General > About. The Name field is no longer accessible when running iOS 16 or greater. You may see the device name listed as either iPhone or iPad. If you are running iOS 16 or greater, you will want to update this field to match the Name listed in Settings > General > About.

Account
The Account section is where you specify how the device determines which manifests to display.

Branches - Tap to select the branches for which this device will have manifest access. The branches displayed are the branches authorized for Deliver. Tap on each branch you would like and then press on Save in the top, right-hand part of the screen to return to the Account Settings page. You can also use the search box at the top to find a specific branch.

Driver - Entering a driver name will narrow the manifest selection page to only show manifests for this driver. This is a text entry field that must contain the driver's Eclipse User ID exactly how it appears in Eclipse. This field is optional, but you must select either a Driver or a Ship Via.
Ship Via - Enter the Ship Via for which this device will display manifests for. You can enter the short name of the ship via such as "OT", which will display all manifests with ship vias containing "OT". This is also an optional field, but you must enter either a Driver or a Ship Via.
Use Login Account as Default Driver - Select this to disable the Driver & Ship Via fields and use only the logged in driver to search for manifests. This means the only manifests that will be displayed will be those for which the driver's Eclipse User ID appears as the driver on the Eclipse manifest.
Manifests
The Manifests section controls how you want the driver to interact with the deliver.

Enable Advanced Search - By default, the manifests displayed on the Add Manifest screen are based on the filtered selections for branch, driver and/or ship via in Account Settings. Enabling Advanced Search will give the driver the option of searching for manifests outside of the parameters entered in the Account Settings screen.
When enabled, a Driver field and a Ship Via field will be displayed on the Add Manifest screen in addition to the Manifest# Search bar.

Close Manifest - Tap to select one of the following
-
Disabled - If you select Disabled, when the driver completes all of the deliveries on the manifest on the device, the manifest will NOT be closed in Eclipse. The user specified in the control file, "Innovo Deliver User to be Notified on Manifest Complete" will receive a job queue when the manifest is completed on the device. The manifest will then need to be manually closed in Eclipse in order to initiate the billing process (i.e. changing the print status).
-
Prompt to Close - (Default Setting on new installation) - If you select Prompt to Close, the driver will be asked if they want to complete the manifest in Eclipse after they have completed it on the device. This prompt will only display if there are no skipped stops or refused orders. If there are any notes taken (line item notes, order comment, internal notes), they will still be prompted. If the user is prompted and answers yes, the manifest will be closed in Eclipse and the control file, "Print Status Override on Manifest Close" will be respected.
- Auto-Close if No Issues - If you select Auto-Close if No Issues then as long as there are no issues the manifest will be closed in Eclipse automatically. In this case, the driver does not receive a prompt. An issue, in this case, is considered a skipped stop, refused order, line item note, order comment, and/or internal note.
Display Bill-To Customer Name - Enable this setting to display the Bill-To customer name, in addition to the Ship-To customer name, for the orders on the stops for each manifest. Please note the Bill-To name will only display when different than the Ship-To name.
Full Resolution Photos - By default, delivery photos taken from the device are scaled down to 800px x 600px. Enabling this setting will no longer scale photos, and will be stored on your imaging server based on the photo resolution of the device camera.
Automatically Sync Stops - (Enabled by default on a new installation) - We highly recommend you enable this option, regardless if the device has a cellular plan. If there is cellular or WiFi connectivity when a stop is completed, all of the information collected during the stop (photos, signatures, and comments) will be synced back to Eclipse. If there is no connectivity at the time the stop is completed, the information will be queued and sent to Eclipse the next time the device has cellular or WiFi connectivity.
Enable Stop Editing - By default, the stops are in the order they are entered on the manifest in Eclipse. When you enable this setting, the driver will have the ability to rearrange the stop order on the device. Please note this setting will rearrange the stops on the device and in Deliver Web, but not in Eclipse.
Enable Stop Consolidation/Grouping - This allows you to group orders together and have the customer sign only once if they are under the same bill to account. When you enable stop consolidation, you are also able to select whether or not you would like to use address matching.
Consolidate Using Address Matching - This setting will only be available to set if the Enable Stop Consolidation/Grouping setting is enabled. When enabled, orders will only be consolidated if the shipping addresses match exactly, regardless if they are for the same ship-to customer or not.
Combine Multiple Manifests - When enabled, multiple manifests selected will combine and appear as one route for the driver.
Require Double-Tap to Accept Signature - When enabled, the Accept button will have to be double-tapped in order to accept a signature. This can prevent accidentally pressing Accept before the customer is ready to submit.
Verify COD was Received - When enabled, the driver will be prompted when entering the signing screen if there is a COD amount due.
Move Delayed Stop to Last - (Enabled by default on a new installation) - When enabled, and you delay a stop, that stop will automatically be moved to the bottom of the stop listing. Estimated times will then be updated for all remaining stops.
Capture Odometer at Start - (Requires Combine Multiple Manifests option to be enabled) - When enabled, you MUST manually start the manifests by pressing Start at the top-right of the Pre-Trip Adjustment screen. At that point, you will be prompted to enter the odometer reading. This reading will be recorded for each manifest and will display in the Completed Manifests table in Deliver Web.
Note: If you have vehicles defined, you will first be prompted for the vehicle and then the odometer reading. If the entered value is off by more than 500 miles to what is stored on the Vehicles page for that truck, you will receive another prompt to confirm the entry.
Allow Manual Package Counts - By default the driver will need to scan each package off of the truck. Enabling this setting allows for them to enter the package counts instead of scanning. This is great when there are more than 10 packages to scan at any given stop. NOTE: This setting requires the Deliver Web -> Settings -> Scan Packages Off Truck to be enabled for the manifest's branch. If that is not the case drivers will not have the option to manually enter package counts even if this app side setting is enabled.
Mapping
The Mapping section controls the way the mapping and navigation behave in Deliver.

Map Navigation - This setting allows you to choose if you want to use the device's built-in Apple Maps for turn-by-turn navigation or use the following 3rd party mapping apps:
- Google Maps
- CoPilot GPS
- Hammer
- Sygic
Make your selection and then press "<Mapping" at the top left to return to the Mapping settings screen.
Notes:
- To use any of the 3rd party navigation apps, you must first download and install the app from the App Store. If the app does not exist on the device, you will see an info icon letting you know.
- Apple's Guided Access mode (settings>general>accessibility>guided access) must be disabled in order to allow the mapping navigation app to launch.
- The Google API will be used to fetch directions, addresses, and calculate delivery times regardless of the selected navigation app.

Stop Time Padding - By default, 10 minutes of "padding" time is added to the calculated expected time of each stop. This is designed to account for the time needed to drop off the order and have the customer sign, allowing for more realistic expected times for all subsequent stops. This setting allows you to adjust the padding between 1 minute and 60 minutes per stop. Scroll to make your selection and then press Save.

Enable Break Times - This will allow the driver to add a break to the stops listing for taking a lunch break, stopping for fuel, etc. This will be included in the estimated delivery times of all subsequent stops to make them more accurate.
Enable "Take Me Home" (Enabled by default on a new install) - When enabled this allows Deliver Web to track the driver back to the branch. This also includes that estimated time and distance into the totals presented on Deliver Web. This option will still allow the manifest to be closed in Eclipse after the last stop is completed.
Enable Drop Pin - This setting will only appear for our Route customers. When enabled and the driver is working on a manifest created through Route, the driver will be able to place a pin on the map to set a new delivery address for the stop's ShipTo customer. Details on how this works in Deliver can be found here.
Restrict "Take Me Home" to Geofence - When enabled this requires the driver's device to be within 0.1 mi of the mapped branch address to complete the Take Me Home step.
Clear Address Cache - This will clear the cache of addresses that have been delivered to on this device. This should not be needed unless support has asked that it be cleared on a device.
Security
The Security section allow you to secure the Settings section as well as require a passcode when resetting a manifest on the device.

Enable Settings Passcode - When you tap this to enable, you will be prompted to enter a 4-digit numeric code. Once you enter the code you will be prompted to enter the same code again to verify it was entered the way you intended. Once enabled, the driver must use that settings passcode to enter the Settings page.

Change Settings Passcode - Once you have entered a passcode, you can change that passcode at anytime by pressing Change Settings Passcode. You will first be prompted for the current passcode, and then prompted to enter the new passcode twice. The new passcode cannot be the same as the previous passcode.

Require Passcode to Reset Manifest - Sometimes it may be necessary to reset a manifest on the device before it's completed. Enabling this option will force the driver to enter the settings passcode to reset that manifest.
Touch ID/Face ID - For devices that support Touch ID or Face ID, enabling this setting will allow the user to use the device Touch ID or Face ID to login to the app.
Viewing Deliver App Settings in the Portal
You can view the specific settings for a given device running the Deliver App from your Portal. To do so, go to Manage->Devices in the Portal, set the App dropdown to "Deliver" and find the device you want to review.

Click on the device entry to open a popup window that includes how each of the app's settings is configured on that device. If you scroll down in that window you can see all of the app's settings from the Account, Manifests, Mapping, and Security pages in the App's Settings area.

iOS Settings App
In addition to Deliver App settings, we recommend the following configuration in the iOS Settings app on the device.
Enable Cellular Data - Turn on Cellular Data and set Cellular Data Options to "Roaming On".

Enable Location Services - Turn on Location services under Privacy.

Configure Deliver Access - Under Deliver in the iOS Settings app, set Location Services to "Always" and enable the Camera, Background App Refresh, and Cellular Data options.

NOTE: Apple's iOS 14 also includes a new "Precise Location" option you can access by tapping on your current Location setting for Deliver. This setting should be enabled for Deliver to receive accurate location information from iOS.
