While testing the newest version of the Apple operating system, iOS 11 rumored to be released on Sept. 20, we have found some critical issues that need to be addressed and submitted before the release of iOS 11.
We have submitted the update to Apple and will be publishing the update on Friday, September 15. We strongly recommend you download the new OE Touch update before iOS 11 is released.
There are two critical fixes in this release:
- Ensuring the "Done" button is displayed in every scrolling selection field. For example, during checkout, you will notice a "Done" button displayed above the scrolling selection on Required Date, Ship-Via, and Ship Branch (if you have Ship Branch overrides enabled). In iOS 11, this button was removed by default. The update will add it back.
- In certain situations, deleting items from the Shopping Cart causes the app to "crash". The remaining items in the cart are not removed but the app will need to be launched again to get back to the cart.
The new version of OE Touch (for most of you) will be version 3.5.1, build 5. There are a few apps out there currently with a version greater than 3.5.0. In those cases, the new version will be 3.5.5, build 1.
