Letter from the President,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year! We are very excited about what is in store for Innovo in 2017, including a new product announcement, enhancements across our current product line, and more. First off, I want to welcome the newest member of the Innovo family that most of you already know! Mark Artim, a long-time employee of Eclipse, is now our Director of Product Management. I had the great opportunity to work alongside Mark as a fellow product manager back in the Intuit days and I can’t begin to express how honored we are to have someone with his talents and industry knowledge as a part of our team.

Next, I'm happy to announce our plans for the latest Innovo product, Deliver Pro. Deliver Pro will be an extension of our current Deliver platform with added features such as on-board diagnostics support (idle time, hard breaking, speeding, sudden acceleration), iPhone and Android support for our Signature Touch app, real-time alerts for truck maintenance, driver vehicle inspection reporting (DVIR), a driver scoring system, and much more. And, with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Electronic Device Logging (ELD) mandate going into effect on December 18, 2017, customers using the Deliver Pro product will be in compliance with these safety measures. As for the rest of our product lineup, we have some good changes coming down the pike. Our next version of Location Touch will feature a new design layout for ease of use and added support for the Eclipse Advanced Cycle Count module and real-time cycle counting for your non-RF branches. For OE Touch, we will be adding the ability to display substitutes and related items. Your salespeople will be able to search the PDW for products and order like they can today in Eclipse. We will also be adding support for Kiosk mode — a feature that came out of our last users group conference — and the ability to see product groups across all related customers and enable view-only mode for specified contacts. And for Signature Touch, we will be adding support for Truck mode on iPhone and Android and proactive delivery notifications — your order is out for delivery, your order will be there in 30 minutes, etc. — by push notification, text message, and email. 

I also want to remind everyone about Innovate 2017 — the Innovo User Group Conference — being held in Boulder, CO, April 19-20, 2017 from 8am to 5pm each day. We have two days of productive seminars and roundtables planned and we know it will be a valuable experience for everyone. Finally, we constantly strive to improve our processes internally and externally and when we experience an issue we try to eliminate it from happening again. As many of you probably remember, there was a major DNS outage last October caused by a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. This outage affected the status of our customer portal so we created a status page, status.goinnovo.com, where you can subscribe to get real-time status updates if any of our services are offline and a corresponding widget on our support site, support.goinnovo.com. While we try our best to keep our systems and services available, we know challenging situations do arise. When they do, we will do our best to communicate those to you and be as transparent as possible.
