Branch and Territory Access

Eclipse Branch and Territory Access

Info Touch displays information for all branches and reporting territories assigned to the user in User Maintenance. To see a specific user's current Eclipse access, load the user in User Maintenance and press Alt-B in Eterm (Ctrl-B in Solar) to see their branches and Alt-T (Ctrl-T in Solar) to see their reporting territories.

It is also possible to setup branch and territory access specific to Info Touch using the Info Touch hotkey on the Innovo Mobile User Authorizations user defined screen off of User Maintenance.

Innovo Mobile User Authorizations

Innovo Mobile User Authorizations

NOTE: This screen can only be access from Eterm.

The Info Touch hotkey on the Innovo Mobile User Authorizations user defined screen allows you to configure branch and territory access specifically for Info Touch.

This screen can only be accessed from Eterm by going to User Maintenance (F2-U-U), loading a user, and then pressing Alt-F1. Note: If your system already had something mapped to Alt-F1, the Innovo screen will be at Alt-F2 or whatever function key was the first available for us to use.

Press Alt-I to access the Info Touch settings.

The Info Touch Settings screen allows you to specify the branches and territories that will be available for the user in Info Touch. As noted above, Info Touch respects the user's Eclipse branch and reporting territory authorizations. This screen is optional and allows you to configure branch and territory access outside of Eclipse, specifically for Info Touch.

Branches. Enter the branches you want to user to be able to view in Info Touch, one per line. When branches are added in this screen, the user's Eclipse branch authorizations will be ignored and these will be used for Info Touch.

Territories. Enter the territories you want the user to be able to view in Info Touch, one per line. When territories are added to this screen, the user's Eclipse Reporting territories will be ignored, and these will be used instead for Info Touch. However, the user's Eclipse branch authorizations will still be applied. So, for example, if a territory is added in this screen the is comprised of branches 1, 2, and 3, but the user only has Eclipse branch authorization for branches 1 and 2, Info Touch will display the territory using data only for branches 1 and 2.
